More popular = less cool?

April , 2009

Chris O’Brien’s column today is entitled How Twitter might be more popular and less cool.  This is a perfect example of the idea of  “reflective design” from Donald Norman’s book Emotional Design.  See my review.

Reminds me of a statement attributed, I think, to Yogi Berra, about Coney Island: “Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.”
Also, the comment that nothing fails like success, and nothing succeeds like failure.

I have to say that your review inspired me to buy the Don Norman book – we’ll have to discuss when I finish reading it!
